Anniversary weekend

I know its been awhile but here is the latest
I am preggers again...due in October.and Its another girl......yippee!
We have settled right into Webster and love it very much.
We have made some improvements to the house....painted the shutters and door trim
added a flower bed around the big tree in front...and cleared out the debris of dead trees in back and made another big flower bed, lots of work that is. Once we get the mulch it will look soo good.
This weekend is our anniversary weekend. Teagan is at Grammy and Grampy's having a ball in Syracuse. She is spending some QT with her Auntie B too. I heard they were all exhausted after one day. I am missing her like crazy though. We are getting a ton of stuff done around the house though, and even having date nights.
Now we have to start prepping and painting the new babies room. I am thinking two different shades of purple.

New House

Wow It has been a long time
Well we are now homeowners...pictures to come.
We closed last Friday and have been painting and updating the electrical outlets and getting the furnace ducts cleaned out. All very expensive things. We move in Dec 13th weekend. With the help of our lovely parents, and Becky...she better be coming to help.
So much has happened lately in Teagan land too. She is now crawling, all over the place, and knocking over coffee cups on herself, thank god the coffee was cold. And she will get up on her knees and almost pull herself up. She is holding her own sippy cup also. She also has severe stranger anxiety, and now does not like to be left alone even for a second. I highly recommend not moving with a 9 month old. I had 6 days off from work to get things done, and all I did was console Teagan. The minute I would leave the room she would cry and follow me and want to be picked up, which is sooooo not like her. and she screams in terror at the vacuum and rug shampooer and packing tap dispenser, and even quivers her body in fear of them. When you pick her up she is fine. She is so sensitive right now.
Unfortunalty we will be home alone for Thanksgiving. I have to work nights. So Teagan and Junior are going to make Thanksgiving dinner. It might not be turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing, but it should be good.
Then we get to go get new furniture Friday, my birthday present and x-mas present. I am excited I hope there are deals.

New House

We just got approved for our mortgage, so now I feel like we really did buy a house

We will close in November. And then we will have our very own house. I must say the home buying process was not bad. My realtor said it would be stressful, but it wasn't terrible.
Now for a Teagan update.
She is so close to crawling she will get up on her knees and rock back and forth. I predict right around 8 months. She has two teeth now, her bottom two, and her top two are very close to coming in, they are right under the gums. She hasn't said any words yet, but she is talking up a storm. She loves her friends at daycare especially a little blonde girl names Ainsley, who is a month older than she is. She rolls all over the house. She still won't hold her own bottle. She has stranger anxiety. She is eating all her foods, and wants what ever mommy and daddy are eating.

We made it!

Well we are finally living in Webster NY. We moved all of our stuff July 4th weekend, not fun. I was just Jr and I with a whole 3 bedroom house full of stuff. I was very sore and very bruised after that weekend. Then this past weekend we stayed with Rick and Yvonne, and worked. I will miss the people I work with, I got to know and like lots of them. I start work here the 21st. And good news Jr has a job offer. He interviewed Saturday with a guy who owns his own painting business, and got offered a job, he might take it. Then today Cathy, Becky and dad visited for the day. We did some shopping and the boys went golfing. And we had lots of quality time with Teagan. Sadly the hounds left with their grandparents, its too expensive to have them here at our new apartment. I will miss them lots.
I need to post some new pics of Teagan, and out apartment.
This weekend we are going to see the new baby, how exciting. Teagan is dying to meet her cousin.

Its been quite awhile since I posted last. Teagan is now 4 months old, and changing more and more everyday. She is so close to rolling over. And she laughed, but most of the time she is so very serious. She just looks at everything and takes it all in. She has found her hands and her feet. She loves her dad thats for sure. We are in the process of packing all our belongings and moving to Rochester. I start my new job there July 21st. Jr is still searching. We have our apt and daycare all set up, and boy is it expensive.

wow it has been a long time since I updated
I have been busy taking care of my little mama, we go on walks just about everyday, weather permitting and she naps most of the day. When she is awake though she is smiling more and cooing and she can see much better now. He changing table downstairs is right next to the wall with a banner that has American flags on it (believe me I did not decorate, we rent), but anyways she loves to stare at it. Her hair is getting longer and she is getting chubbier.
We went to the Dr. Thursday for her 2 month checkup, she weighs 12 lbs 9.5oz and is 22 3/4 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile of her weight. I am putting her on light formula now and only feeding her once a day. She cries a bunch more because she is always starving but I tell her if she ever wants to be a model she will need to lose some serious weight, her goal weight is 8.5 lbs.

never-ending battle

With babies comes fat, and rolly polly stomachs. I have recently joined weight-watchers (which I have done many times in the past) but I feel committed this time. I still have about 15 lbs to lose from the baby, and then I would like to lose another 50 or more to look good. I know I just had a baby and it takes a long time to lose the weight, but I can't always have Teagan at my side to justify my obeseness. My first week on WW, I think I did pretty good. I started off good, writing things down, and counting, then we went to Syracuse for the weekend, and went out to dinner and drank, which was not good. But then I got a GI virus and had diarrhea and couldn't eat for a whole day so that counter acted the binging. I still managed to lose 3.2 lbs, which is great, because I want to average 2lbs a week. I feel much more self conscious now than before the baby though. Jr is forbidden to touch my stomach, which makes him want to do it even more, especially when I am sitting down, which is disgusting. I need to think positive, and destroy the mirrors in my house.

Its been awhile since I updated. I am still on maternity leave, and getting used to it. I am going back to work April 30th. I am looking forward to it, just to have adult contact, with people other than my husband. Not that I don't love his company, but I miss my work friends.
I have been investigating mortgage companies in Rochester, NY. And unfortunately I think we might have to rent for a few months before we can buy a house. I really don't want to move twice.
I am thinking we might end up living in Greece. I have heard good things about it. I want to check it out though, one of these weekends, we will have to go investigate.
Teagan stayed at her grandma's last night, I missed her lots, but I didn't cry my eyes out like the first time. I did get 1o hours of sleep however. I woke up a few times in the middle of the night, thinking I heard her cry. Its so weird how having a baby totally changes you. There is nothing like it, its a whole new kind of love, nothing like romantic love. Hopefully she will be smiling soon, she is always so serious, and hopefully she will look at her Grammy this weekend when we go to Syracuse. Last time we visited she would not look at her, she kept looking past her or turning her head, very strange.

first bath

First off Teagan's cord fell off, and now she can take baths in the tub, she loves them, she doesn't get very dirty but I feel like she needs baths anyway. She loves the water. We recently went to Syracuse to visit, we all had a great time, Grammy even babysat so Jr and I could go out with adults, it was fun, we went to Papa Gallo's, very good food, and margaritas. We also went to visit the Fischers, Teagan met her very first friend, Katie. We also got our first taste of Guitar Hero II, that was fun, it's very addicting. Jr wants it now. Jr also went back to work this week, and the first two nights were not fun for me. By bedtime night two I was emotional and exhausted, feeling like I had to do everything. When I get little or no sleep, the tears come running. Now Jr gets up 1 hour earlier and feeds her in the morning, allowing me to sleep, it helps immensely. I give credit to single mom's, I wouldn't be able to do it. There would be some serious postpartum blues if that was the case. I also started going to the Y and walking or walking Teagan when the weather is nice. It makes me feel good, and my flabby body needs some serious exercise.

Well things in the Hunt house are going smoothly, most of the time. Jr and I are getting into a routine with Teagan. She is doing great. She went to the Dr and gained, she now weighs 8lbs, and is 20 1/4 inches, yipee! The jaundiced has resolved, and she is pooping and peeing up a storm, and to think we worried.

She is even wearing her cute outfits now.
Lucy on the other hand has not been good, she has needed TLC lately, She ate something from outside the other night, I'm not sure what it was, probably some poop or something. But that night and the following she has massive diarrhea cha cha cha. Only at night though, and then during the day she would mope around, not eat anything, and just look sickly. Luckily today she greeted me with her tail wagging, and I think she is back to her normal self. Thank-god.
Only 4 more days till we go visit Grammy, Teagan is so excited. She misses her terribly. She also wants to spend some quality time with her favorite Grampy, and her birthday buddy Auntie B.

New Baby (6 days old)

We finally have our baby! She is beautiful. She was born like everyone thought on her Auntie B's birthday February 19th, 2008, at 0252 on the AM, 7lbs 13.5oz, 19 inches long. It was an intense labor, 20hrs, but its true what they say, you forget about it once you see your little one. She got to come home from the hospital Wednesday evening. She was a little jaundiced, but with our sunbathing and frequent feedings she was able to stay out of the hospital. We have had some struggles since we got home, breastfeeding is killer on the nipples, no sleep, no pooping for 3 days (Teagan I mean). Luckily we had the help of her very special Grammy, who even offered to breastfeed her one day when I just couldn't do it. Now everyone is gone and its just the three of us, we are trying to get into a routine, I heard it takes awhile. She is precious though.

Well today is my official due date, and so far no baby. I was hoping she would be here by now, or at least come today. I though how appropriate if she came on the due date since she was conceived exactly when I predicted. I am trying as hard as I can. My midwife says evening primrose oil 3 x's a day helps ripen the cervix, and walking and sex. No such luck yet. Jr's happy though, haha. Actually he is so nervous, its adorable. I am the calm one. Cath comes today, which is good, because we are going to the YMCA to walk and swim, and we are going to get our eyebrows waxed, and I might get a pedicure. Maybe then if my toes look nice the baby will come.

I am 38 1/2 weeks here, and fatter than ever. I can't wait to see how big this butterball is inside me. I am guessing 8lbs 3oz, and apparently she is very long too because her head is engaged in my pelvis and she still manages to kick her big feet up under my ribs, and I have a long torso.

Waiting game

Well the due date is less than 2 weeks away now, and all I get to do is wait. But I figured out that no matter if I work or just lay around all day, my back still kills me and the cramps are still there also. Trying to get out of bed still sucks. I am dying for the day I can bend over and touch my toes with out getting kicked in the diaphragm. Jr is in definite nesting mode, he went through probably 6-7 totes that he has had filled since high school/college, with junk, and throwing stuff away, he is learning. And today he is going through junk drawers. We also cleaned/vacuumed and dusted the bedroom, the bathroom, and the nursery recently. Its great! I packed my back and the babies bag for the hospital, and Jr's is ready too. I think we are all set. I just hope I don't go late, I keep thinking every little twinge is something real, but it never is. They say you'll know when its happening. I should walk around the block today. Em and Ryan are having a girl as well, I wonder if they will look alike. Emily said she could see definite features of her and Ryan in the ultrasound, I couldn't pic out, any distinct ones with our little mama, I can't wait to see what she looks like.

I am getting excited because I only have 5 more shifts of work left, starting tonight, and ending wednesday, but then I am off until 3 months after the baby is born. I know I am going to be run down from feedings every 2 hours and no sleep, but the thought of not having to go to work and deal with any patients for that long is so nice.
I am a little nervous though because I have been having LOTS of cramping and Braxton-hicks contractions, which means my body is getting ready for labor. I feel like I am ready sometimes, but then I feel scared. People have described it as the worst pain of their lives. The pressure from the internal exam from my midwife last week was hell, and I am sure labor is much worse. The good thing though is I will finally have my baby. I have been waiting about 12 years for this, and now I am only weeks away. And my pregnancy has been farely easy compared to most. No swelling, no hemorrhoids, no pre-ecclampsia, no vomitting, I will have gained around 20-25 lbs, and I do have some "scratch" marks as Jr likes to call them, but they don't go up to my breasts like I feared. SO I am being optimistic and thinking I will have a farely straightforward labor. I just hope my labor coaches don't "freak" out or "pass" out.

I had my Syracuse baby shower this weekend, it was a lot of fun, I got to see my friends and catch up. We also received a ton more presents, and now we are ready for our arrival. I put in some pics of the new presents that we put together yesterday.

its getting closer

Well its getting closer to our new little arrival, I am getting so excited and worried that I am not prepared. First off Yvonne and Cath had an Olean babyshower for me 1/5/08, It was a great turn out and lots of fun. Baby Hunt got so many clothes, sooooo many clothes. Cath and I washed, well Jr washed them, Cath and I arranged them in the nursery according to size. Some of them are so small, I don't know if she will even get to wear them. I think she is going to have fat little legs, and cheeks. And we got a ton of diapers, and books, such a good idea.
I also recently told my boss that I can't work as much as I do, NO MORE 12 HOUR SHIFTS, yipee, I still do 8 hour shifts but only 4 a week, so thats not too bad. And my midwife said women who are on their feet a lot tend to go early, but since its my first I am doubting it. I have my last sonogram 1/22, and we will gestimate her delivery size, and see if she is in place, and also start the weekly internal exams, ughghg I hate those. Oh and a very nice women from Jr's work gave us a ton of clothes and shoes, and a crib set, and the cutest snowsuit, tragically because she lost her baby @ 8 months.

28 Weeks

Its time for another picture, 28 weeks now, only 12 left to go
these past few days have been full of activities, Thanksgiving was jam packed at Yvonne's house, lots of people and lots of dogs. My hounds did not see their cousins this season, too much excitement for Lucy and her healing leg. Then Friday was the big surprise party, I worked all day while everyone else went shopping and got ready for the party. It was fun, I think Ryan enjoyed himself. I even beat Jr at pool. Cath and I played darts for 1 1/2, and no one won, we finally gave up, I only needed a double bull, but I had lost interest. Then Saturday we all had lunch, and had a relaxing night of watching movies. "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" is a must see.
Today my parents left early to beat the traffic, and the rest of the day entails football, and probably a nap.

Tis the season

Its almost time for our guests to come. The Brown's will be sleeping at our place, we have it all set up. Also I got all the ingredients to make our thanksgiving dish. Its going to be a busy holiday, and then it will be x-mas in no time, and then pretty soon my little mama will be here.
My other little one is doing much better, you would think Lucy never even had surgery the way she is using her casted leg, and going up stairs, which I told her not to. I can't wait to take the cast off Friday. This weekend is open day for hunting. I think Jr is sooo excited like a little kid. I don't understand the excitement of sitting in the cold for hours, but boys with be boys. Good thing I'll have at least one girl around the house.

Lucy's surgery

Lucy had her surgery on friday. She had a Luxating patella, which means her knee cap wasn't in the right place, as many of you had noticed with her limping. Well it had gotten worse over the past month and she needed surgery. We had to go up to Buffalo to a board certified orthopedic surgeon for the surgery. She did well, we brought her home saturday. Its so nice to have my baby back, she did cry when we got there, and has been whimpering on and off since. The surgeon said it was difficult with her size, and that she needs to lose some weight, which hopefully will be possible now, because she will be able to go on walks, most likely we will wait until spring to test that one out. She has a big bulgy bandage on that has to stay on for a week, and can't jump or run or play rough with other dogs for 6 weeks, which won't be hard for her. She mostly just sits and sleeps in her bed. I was getting worried though because she hadn't peed in almost 24 hours this Am and wouldn't drink any water. So I gave her some milk, which she drank right up, then took her outside (and I have to wrap her bandage in a glove so It won't get wet, or else thats really bad), and she finally peed, thank god, her little kidneys are working. She doesn't have much of an appetite, and she looks at us like "what did you do to me" but overall she is doing well. here are some pics of this bandage, which she hates.

24 weeks

well its that time again for pics, my belly has grown lots, it seems like more so over the last week, and she is kicking like crazy, Jr can finally feel her kick.
This weekend Cathy is here, and we went to Bingo today, and came home empty handed, then we went swimming at the YMCA, Cathy loves our Y, it was very relaxing, and I got to try out my new bathing suit, my other one was getting ratty tatty. We also watched "Reign over me" with Adam Sandler, it was good, sad, but good. Its a very different role him.

and we went shopping, I got some new prego clothes

well I had another Dr's appt today, things are coming along nicely
I gained 5 lbs, I was shocked
but my midwife said the baby is growing nicely and the heartbeat sounds like it could be a boy!
Sorry bec, no niece for you. She said he is moving around a lot too, and I'll start to feel it everyday soon. We scheduled my Ultrasound for 1 month, then we will now the real gender hopefully.

Poor Franklin

I took Franklin to the vet this AM to get his teeth cleaned, and he gave me this sad sad look when I handed him over the to lady, I had to leave because I almost cried right there, oh these emotions are out of control. I have been pretty weepy lately. I have also gained 3 lbs, my Dr will be happy, but I'm not. I need to start exercising. I am also getting slight cramps, I think it's my lower abdomen muscles stretching, because that uterus is getting awfully big. But if labor involves those cramps I am in a lot of trouble.
I am debating of getting a new job. I need a change, and I keep getting called off of work because we are over staffed now. It's either feast or famine, I'm sick of it. I told JR that I am going to work part-time, and he will have to get another job, and support me. He laughed.
Oh we went to the fair this past weekend, lots of fun and lots of people, we met up with Lishi and met her beau, very nice guy. And Becky's friend Katie came to visit, we had fun at Mulligan's.
And Becky learned all about how babies are born, and what they look like when they come out, all bloody and cheesy and hairy. I don't think she wants children anymore.

I was just realizing its been a very long time since I blogged, and I haven't even gotten any harrassing emails from Becky, hmm she must be busy.
Jr went on a canoe trip this weekend, and I was all alone, but thats alright because friday I worked in the ER 16 hours, man I was tired after, and then I worked saturday in the ER to.
There are so many drug seekers its sick. God people have some bad addictions.
We are going camping this coming up weekend, can't wait to see everyone. I should be so much fun, I hope so, because we are driving 7 hours.
I feel like my belly is popping out, not a cute round one yet, more like I just ate a full meal popping out. I am almost to my second trimester, 1/3 of the way done, phew!

today I had a dr's appointment, and we listened to the lil' babes heartbeat, its soo fast, which is a good thing, i bet franklin's is as fast
today I drove to Buffalo to get a dress for the Bree's wedding, I got it in the maternity section, which I wasn't to impressed with, I think I am going to have to buy those jeans with the elastic waist bands soon, my jeans feel tight
And I haven't gained any weight according to my Dr, which is a good thing, but my belly feels like its getting bigger, I can't hold it in anymore, it feels good to just let loose.
I also got these cute shoes for the wedding, the are mid heels, black patent leather quilted peep-toes, soo cute.
Two weeks till we make the trip to NYC, and Aimee is going to meet up with us in the city, so exciting I haven't seen her in years.

We are in our new apartment, that was a headache, I was so tired after moving, I just can't move things well, like when I lived in Boston, I must be getting old
I guess being pregnant doesn't help too much, It makes me utterly exhausted
I had my first sonogram on Monday and I have a lovely pic.
It still looks alien like. My next sonogram will be at 20 weeks and will look more like a little babe.

Married life and the honeymoon

well it has been almost 1 month, and married life is good
I have been busy trying to get an apartment though, we are moving out of our small little place into a bigger house, still renting
the wedding was such a good time, it was nice to see the family, its been too long seeing the Hahn's and Cooks and the Guarna's. The honemoon was also very nice, Even though we had some problems coming back, waiting in JFK for hours and hours, we had a great time in Punta Cana, DR
we had some good food and drinks and beautiful beaches and lots of sun
the only thing we didn't like was the beer there sucked, all they had was Presidente, and all we wanted was bud light, haha
Also no one really spoke english, which also sucked, but oh well

I am feeling very lazy today I need to go out and walk the hounds but I feel like taking a nap instead, whats wrong with me
I just went tanning, oh I'm getting so brown, and then had some leek dip, don't come near me, Jr makes potent leek dip, becky would love it.
The bach. party was so much fun, I got to see lots of people I haven't seen in years. Today I also did some paper work stuff for the wedding, getting my program ideas, and I have to go to Wally World and pick some more stuff up, and I need to get stuff for the honeymoon. Then I have to work all weekend, why do I dread working? I know because it sucks. This weekend is supposed to be super nice, and I will be stuck inside all day with only, one ounce of sun when I walk to my car at 8pm exhausted.

well this week has been very long, I have driven to Rochacha twice and back
i feel as if I know the city now, and I am finding where the good places are to live. I definitely know where the good places are to shop. I have been going to visit MB in the hospital, today was good I got to see him, and he looked good, and I got to talk to the Dr (Preston) they still are unsure of what they are going to do, they did part of a stress test today and will do the second half tomorrow, and evaluate it and see if he had any ischemia, and then go from there, so If he needs a cardiac catheterization it will not be until Friday I'm sure. So I might have to take another day of work off. ughghg i better have enough for my honeymoon. I am in the midst of planning the wedding a well, so busy, I feel like I never have time to do anything.

I received very sad news today my friend Heather and her husband Derek lost their 6 month old baby girl Olivia on Monday, she died in her crib, they are unsure why. *tears* I can't even imagine the pain she is going through right now. Rest in peace Olivia.
And my little Olive (my car) is getting fixed now and its going to cost me a small fortune. Any one want to donate?

well i know its been a very long time
but i have been busy with wedding stuff, and work is making me work 3 extra 12 hour shifts a month, which gives me little time to do anything, including see my JR and my hounds.
I am fed up with work, I can't wait to move to Rochacha, and JR has excepted it, and even says things like "when we move....." it makes me smile, now just getting Emily and Ryan there. Wedding plans are coming along nicely, we sent out invitations, they are so neat, my sister RB is so talented, she really should do it on the side, with her assembler's Cathy and Magoo, that was a fun weekend in Syracuse, patties day is coming up, and Jr and I have great outfits I'll show you pics next week. I took a walk yesterday and I'm going to after I finish this, it is sunny out a bit chilly but I warm up with the walks, Spring is almost here. We went to look at diamond earrings last night, love those diamonds. I'm thinking its my wedding present. yippee, Jr wants a new rifle for the wedding, so many guns so little time. He is going to have to wait because the cost over $500, so I told him it will be a wedding/b-day/x-mas present. Good think I'm working overtime.
Oh I need some ideas for the song that we walk into at the reception, I want it to be rock, energetic, and appropriate, any ideas?

I have been sick for the past 3 days, really sick, coughing up tons of junk, and not being able to breath through my nose at all, I finally feel about 10% better today, but still crappy
I have been working overtime since we are so short staffed, which is ok because I need the money
I have also been finalizing the wedding details
the DJ has not called ua back so I think we are going to go with a different one. All my addresses are almost done, I think I need 3 more and thats it
I will be coming to Syracuse in two weekends, I hope the weather is ok
I start a class this tues, Its a Critical Care class that I have to take every Tues for 17 weeks, should be a ncie break from working.
It has been snowing all night here, and everyone is out on their 4-wheelers clearing the paths.

Well this week has messed up my sleep schedule big time, But starting Jan 1st I will be on days and get to sleep normally like the rest of the world. I tried to get Jan 1st off, so I could come to Syracuse, but I am unable to, so I have to stay here. That's alright.
I finished all my shopping yesterday and I have all the presents wrapped and ready to go. For picking names I sure have a ton of presents. We have two bags full, plus three big boxes, and other stuff, not to mention there is already stuff at Emily and Ryan's. I hope they have a Christmas tree. I have to work Sunday night so afterwork I will be heading up to wake everyone up bright and early, I know I'll be the only one on the couch opening my stocking, and Jr will probably be making a bloody Mary already, he is already talking about it. Also it is Franklin B-day tomorrow, he will be three, my little man is getting so old, and he has tons of white hairs already, jeesh. Just like his Auntie Em. Except he lets me pick them out.
OK I have been up since oh about 4am, I need to go grocery shopping and get my haircut today, and its only 7:18am, I wish things opened earlier. Or I wish we had a Wegmans.

well we went to Syracuse for Thanksgiving, JR was an angel and drove the whole way there and back, because I had to sleep. It was fun, lots of good food. The dogs were a bit much, I'm used to quiet little hounds that sleep all day. We went out wed night and we had fun, we laughed all night, and Cath shared her soap with everyone, how nice of her. We took pics, and I realized that I need to go to the gym more, and be serious about what I eat, I can't have my wedding pics looking so awful. We had to leave early because I had to work fri night, thats where I am typing from now, my pt's are sleeping, thank god. I need to get some presents for x-mas, and b-day presents, maybe I can go to Buffalo shopping one of these days, I truely hate shopping though, to much stress. OK back to work

i downloaded the rest of the new ablum to listen to while I RUN/WALK at the YMCA. I have been doing so good, We went saturday, I walked my routine sunday, and then went to the Y this morning when JR went to work. I better be losing some weight.
I want to see the new pics of the couch Becky, get on it with that new camera.
I'm trying to think of stuff I want for my b-day and X-mas, hmmm i do need new sneaks for the YMCA, and maybe some cute new workout cloths

Because like last night I went to bed with JR, after taking a nap on the couch during football, then was basically awake lying in bed from 4am-6am, then got up and went to the Y, now I have to take a nap because Iwork tonight, and its going to take me forever to get to sleep, and I think Jr is going to Ryans to help do some MORE work or something, its neverending, but so I won't see him until tomorrow when he gets home from work, then I just have to go to work, so I only see him for like 30 min. So that damn plant went outside, I don't care if it dies those worms are nasty. And they only come out when I'm home, Jr never sees them, well he has seen one. And I'm suprised the hounds haven't even noticed they are around. They never did notice the colonies of ants and mice eating there food at my palace in Boston though.

well its my final night of my three day work weekend, and I am exhausted
jr slept in sat day because he was boozing it up, (must be nice) and i didn't get any sleep, cause his phone rang twice, and he tosses, and turns. Then i was off to work where I had two pt's and got an admission, la diabla (the one red head at work that a I hate) gave me the third pt, ughgh she is annoying. Well then I slept sunday day until 5:30, and Jr watched football all day (must be nice). i am sleeping hardcore tomorrow, well actually its 0140 monday, so it will be today. And then I told Jr we are going to the YMCA and he can't say no, and he is doing abs. He tries to get out of them all the time, he isn't a good work out partner like my old one. I have been going in the morning and its mainly all q-tips, and there is this one couple who is soo cute, they walk around the track, then break, then walk another lap, then break, then they stand back to back and pass a weighted ball around eachother...I love them. I think they will be my new workout partners. And they WILL do abs, they will have flabby six-packs in no time.

Well I'm at work and its a little slow right now, so I am updating
Well last weekend, we went to syracuse, it was fun, and my friends are duds so I didn't see any of them, but seeing family was nice, as usual dad sits in the TV room, doing what he does best, and becky sat at her computer almost the whole time, we did go to her friends house to watch the UFC fight, that was fun, and shannon made a good dip. Jr did go golfing with dad, I'm sure he loved that. Then I was back to work, with the woman that drives me crazy, oh I just want to punch her in the face. I don't want to say too much in case she reads this but I highly highly doubt it.
I worked all weekend, so I will have next weekend off yipee. I'm not sure what we are doing, but I will be going to the gym starting soon, Ever since I started working nights all I do is work and then sleep, so I need to get my lazy ass up and make myself workout, too bad I don't have a partner to race with on the bikes...........sad

this weekend was fun
and nice to have off, work has been tiring, well I think its just being on nights
I worked wed, and thur nights, then slept fri till 3, then had a physical with my new DR. Then JR and I went out to Sean Patricks, it was boring there, nothing going on, so We walked to Grannies, didn't even make it inside, the parking lot was empty, so then we went down to The Plant, right near out house, and we walked all these places, so we got some exercise in. And stayed there for a bit. Then saturday I slept in late, because I need to stay somewhat on my sleeping schedule or I'm screwed, But then Jr had a softball game, The Pulaski Club vs. St Stephens club. The pulaski club won, damn those pollish. Then we went to the Plant because our neighbors were there and there was a band playing, the singer is pretty good. Jr was all excited cause football started today, yipee, how many months does this last? I might as well sign up for work every sunday. I took the hounds for a walk, they loved it, Lucy loves pooping in other people's yards or the sidewalk.

I took my hounds to get their shots yesterday, and they did good, I premedicated Lucy with some Benadryl and the Dr gave her an antihistamine shot, but when we got home poor Franklin was puffy and his belly was red. Good thing the vet also gave me some Benadryl capsules so I gave him one. He seemed so out of it from the shot. But then this morning at 0600 i heard him give a little bark about every 30 secs. Thats his warning bark. So I went downstairs, and either him or Lucy got sick three times on the couch, poor babes. The puffiness went away but I think the Benadryl upset their tummies. Also poor Franklin has little cut on his head. I think its from our walk yesterday, when he ran to bark after a huskie and I yanked his leash, and he did a back flip with a crash landing. I feel bad.

well i started working nights monday night, after our much enjoyed, too short, too long of a drive, vacation
the first night was busy so it went fast, last night however dragged, at about 0400 I was so tired, thinking to myself, god I hate nights, and I want my bed
hopefully it will only be a few months
Jr said he already doesn't like it, I get home from work after he has left already and then I wake up when he gets home, and leave around 1845. I write in military time its much easier, plus we have to at work. I hate waking people up in the middle of the night though, vented patients I don't feel bad, cause they are pretty much asleep all day. I would strangle someone if they kept waking me up all night (JR with his snoring) hehe, no wonder people get ICU psychosis.
I need to get the hounds there shots,oops
and I have my motorcycle road test fri @ 1500, but I think I'm going to postpone it, I have only been on the bike twice. Life has just been so busy. I need to start doing some wedding planning shit too, ughghghgh. Vegas is looking good right now.

I had a busy day at work today, but I love it
The other new RN that got hired the same time as me, we later actually, anyways he is now moving to the ER, apparently he was going to go somewhere else to work in the ER, because he needs more excitment than the ICU, so our manager gave him a position in the ER. Well this didn't seem fair to me because I applied for the ER position as well, so my assistant manager mentioned to me today that to be fair they have to offer me a position in the ER as well, but he really wanted to me stay and feels like the guy who is going there is making a mistake, seeing as he is lacking the nursing experience. I told my assistant manager I wil lstay in the ICU, because I do like it there, and want the experience, but I want to go on days. So the manager said thats fine, and I wil lgo on days in a few months, just so I can help the night staff off. So this is my last week on days and then after vacation I start nights. Jr is very happy that I will be on days, and I guess I am to, because I can't mess up my sleep schedule too much.

God I can't wait for vacation, its going to be soo much fun. whoo hoooo

I had to call in sick today.....yesterday we went to em and ryans for a bbq. I started to feel sick then, my stomach was rumbling. Then when we got home the diarrhea started.ughgh hell. Then I started to feel really cold. I had three blankets on pants socks and two shirts, and I was freezing and shaking. So i took my temp, it was 99.8, normally i'm low so i new I was sick. Then i rested and all of a sudden I got so hot and tad to take some of the blankets and clothes off, my temp then was 102.6. TOO high. It was hell I was achey all over, whihc I still am today, and having diarrhea and just felt crappy and couldn't sleep. And since I called in I won't get paid, cause I'm new, ughgh. But I have a Dr's appt at 2:45 thank god.

we watched Narnia last night, it was a kids movie but very good. I loved all the talking little animals. I have today and tomorrow off..whohoooooooo, and it is hot hot hot today. I need to go to Wally world and get some stuff. Then I am going to take a long walk with the hounds, and then watch another movie, the history of violence. Jr watched it already when I was at work, he said it was good. We also need to weed wack our backyard, its getting long. I should probably pick up the dog poop, Lucy likes to go right in my faux garden, that bitch. I am getting more and more excited for OBX as the days go on.

i feel like I have accomplished lots tonight

I wrote a letter to Bank of america to cancel my accounts
and I wrote a letter to the village of portville asking them If i can get married in the park

I just need to get all these loans padi for and I will be set.
So this past weekend we went home to syracuse, it was nice except it rained saturday. And I really was hoping Pete and Shannon were going to have a pool party friday night, but they didn't adn we hung out with Lishi instead. Which was fun. And Lishi got my a Tiffany's bracelet for my graduation present. I was shocked, it is the one I have always wanted. How sweet she is.
I realized that my parents need to move down here asap, so I can go see them whenever I want.

In case you didn't know about last month I received a ticket for rolling threw a stop sign in Portville, but with my nice smile and perserverence I got it reduced to a loud muffler, whoo hooo
Things have been good here otherwise. Jr is busy finishing up his side job, so we can have some extra money, well actually so we can pay for outerbanks, my ticket, groceries, and patio furniture. The more money we make the more bills we have.
The Italian fest is this weekend, I have never been, but heard it is supposed to be good, we shall see. Becky Em, and Ryan are all staying over sat night.....yipee sleep over party, no puking or peeing the bed ( well couch actually) Becky.
Oh and more good news I lost 1lb at WW this week.

there are 4 more days until I take my boards, I am a tad nervous, but also very confident
All my friends that I know of passed so far. If I keep studying, I am sure to pass, or my life is over, and I hope burger king is hiring.
This weekend we went to visit cath and magoo at camp. We had a good time. Friday we just had a small fire and hung out. Saturday we went to the beach. I worked on my tan, and went swimming in the cool cool water, it really was nice after you got in and under. Then Emily and Ryan came and we went to dinner at the casino. Lots of food. And we gambled some. I am thinking that Friday I might have to go to Bingo, its been forever.
At work I am still in class, there are three new grads, Carrie, Paul and I. We have classes on Monday and Thursdays. It is interesting because I am learning, well going over things that are pertinent to being a critical care nurse.
I do also feel as if I am a visitor here at times, just because my only friend outside of JR is Carrie, and she lives far away and has two kids and I probably will never see her outside of work, I need to make some new friends.

Things are good here, we had the fiesta this past weekend, it was fun, I crashed by 11pm, but the next day I was fine and had no hangover.

my friend Carrie that works with me took them today. The best part about OGH (the hospital) is they have a pharmacy for OTC drugs for employees, and I got Emily some claritin today for $1.41, so much cheaper than Eckerds. And they have most OTC drugs.

Jr and I went to see his buddy TJ and hung out for awhile there, and then hung out at our neighbors and swam in there pool
they are really fun and nice
and then just about 30 min ago we found out that our neighbors wife, who has been sick in the hospital died tonight..it was sad and emotional
I felt bad.she was suffering and had cancer and was near death anyway....but its always sad

well I found out good news, there is a program in Cattaraugus county that will pay for your boards for nursing, so I filled out the application and I am meeting with the lady on Monday and I am going to get reimbursed the $370 I spent to take my boards.

I was also feeling sad today because our landlord is having a party today and I heard her daughter saying hi to her grandmother and It mad me think of Nanny and how much I miss having her around, I know its been years but I still miss her terribly.

Well its almost the end of my first week of work
so far its been ok, its still orientation, and all through next week
we are just learning the computer charting and Iv stuff and other boring stuff
but we are getting paid for it
there is a girl who I have become friends with, she will also work in the ICU 7p-7a with me.
The other people tend to bitch a ton, and some of them I am surprised made it through nursing school
all they do is bitch about everything, god...
but I had WW last night, and only lost 0.8lbs, but that's ok because I just got my period and was constipated when I got weighed.
So next week will be better.
I need to clean the apt, but Jr went to do a side job tonight, which is good he will make some extra cash...
oh and I also found out I will not be getting any tuition reimbursement because I didn't work last summer, so my hire date was technically 8/05 and you have to be employed a year

yesterday after WW (by the way I lost 2.2 lbs) whoohoo I am a loser, we went for a ride on Jr's motorcycle. At first I was super scared, because there is no sissy bar to hold me on. So I had death grip on Jr's stomach, and he likes to drive fast. I was scared going on turns because you are supposed to lean into them. But it was fun. I am studying to take my permit so I can ride.
Also the hot water tank is being replaced today, we talked to my landlord a bit ago, and reminded her last night because our gas bill is $104. Damn thats high. So they are replacing it today..yipeee.
I have been studying for my boards a little bit each day, with my computer disc cath got me.
At the WW meeting I was sad because I didn't have my partner in crime. The teacher is good, but kind of lame. I need to be good this week. I want my 5lb bookmark.
This weekend Jr has a side job, which is good cause we need some extra money.
Oh and I emailed the lady about my free I-POD shuffle, for signing up for Directv, she said 2-3 weeks.
I am waiting to cancel my Bank of America accounts, but some damn people haven't cashed my checks yet. After they are all cashed I will have about 57 cents in the account. Oh I hope they send me a check for that. HAHA

well saturday we went to the football game, it was fun, they won, but it was cold and rainy
I was starting to have a sore throat anyway and the whole night made it worse.

Graduation

Graduation was last night
it was fun, a little emotional, cath cried almost the whole time
I won 2 awards
1) Sr. Antonia award which I was voted for by my peers for being a compassionate nurse
2) having the 4th highest GPA overall 3.92, the 3 other students were weekend students, so I had the highest GPA of the weekday students
I was shocked
and I got $500 to pay for my further schooling, that is going to help greatly.

Overall it was a great night.
Now off to more packing because starting tomorrow I will be an Olean resident.

I was the only student to get two awards
and I have them framed on my wall to prove it.

I'm at work and the pats are all sleeping
well I have actually told the charge nurse twice to get a pain pill for this woman, and they seem to think she doesn't need it because it has been about 40 min and no pain pill has been given

cath and I did a cardio kickboxing class on wed, it was great, a real good workout. we did lots of cardio along with the punches and kicks, Cath was sooo good at it, I should have taken pics. I don't think she could beat up franklin if she tried. I do give her lots of credit though because the avg age was 16, and the girls were size zero or smaller. She did have to sneak out half way through because she couldn't stand it anymore

well I received good news today
OGH called and offered me a position in the Intensive Care Unit
and I accepted. I can't wait, I am so excited.
Everything is coming together, we have our apt and I have my job, and can still go on vacation in August.
Now I just need to get pregnant and my life would be perfect.

I packed up my computer tonight, boy was it dusty
it will get more use in my apt because one, mom's computer won't be there and two, i will need it for my online courses
I will start my online courses in the fall probably, and I only need 3 courses to recieve my BS in nursing, and then I go on to get my masters and that will take under 2 years. It will be a lot of paper writing and discussion, but I wil lget it done. Looks like Becky will be given me $500 sooner than I thought. Never underestimate me Beck.
I need boxes, and I'm hoping Jr can get his strong male friends to help us move.
Most importantly I hope I get the job at OGH, they said they will should know by tomorrow, I am gonna call them Tues if they don't call tomorrow. The suspense is killing me.

first off Lucy did fine with her surgery.. 6 incisors pulled, and a huge bill later, the baby is home and has glorious breath
becky you have to make a special trip just to smell it
next thing..I go to work friday night, and am very busy all night long. I come home and pull in to the driveway and the barking begins
ughghghg...instant headache
then this morning round 6am cath gets up and wakes the beasts
so the barking begins, non-stop incessant high pitched ear piercing thrills
i could not live with it, i would cut the vocal cords myself
oh also #4 gets my little angels going, who never bark and basically sleep all day
their one and only barking session is when the mail man comes..thats it

so i decide to tire them out and take them all for a walk, #4 is the worst walker, she is like a mini buster, pulling as hard as she can, and cutting you off and attacking patty and franklin, and running in every mud puddle
lucy had the best seat, in the doggy carrier, next to me

thank god I'm working tonight and don't have to deal with them.

and conviently cath is at bingo all day and dad is golfing.. those jerks

Lucy's death breath

SO last night Cathy wanted to see Lucy's bottom teeth. I had noticed that she was missing two the other day. So I pull down her bottom lip for Cath, and We see that her gums are all slimey and blueish-green. I was horrified and decided she needed to go to the vet asap. So today she went to the vet and I found out that she needs dental work asap. Which cost around $350, the best part was that the blueish green gum line was actually a piece of rawhide or something and I think fuzz from that awful blue blanket on the couch. Few I thought her gums were gangrene. So tomorrow LuLu goes under and gets her teeth clean

We just got back yesterday from New Orleans. We had lots of fun
the first night we went to some parades, and saw willy nelson, and got a ton of beads. We are going to have a party when we get our new apt, a bead party. We spent a ton of money on drinks there too. Monday we went on a bugey tour and walked down bourben st, and saw more parades. Bourben street is the dirtiest st I have ever been on. There were about 10 strip clubs on the st, and bars everywhere. By the fat tuesday it was full of beads, beer puke, condoms, and all other kinds of things...gross
We had fun though, we met some people, locals and others, a couple from denmark even.
After Mardi Gras the city was dead, so we did all of our site seeing then. We walked a ton, and went to the zoo and shops. we got some gifts for people
becky you'll have to wait till I see you.
Now I have to get ready to go back to school, blah

ok here is what is new
i got a 96 on my pharm test, again the highest grade in the class
i am very busy with school, clinical is fun, the instructor likes me thank-god, because she is mean to one student each rotation and tries to get them to quit
one girl in my group was almost in tears today
lucy and franklin are fine, they miss their friends
i went to homecare this week and this one patient had a pomeranian that looked like a big patty except she didn't make a peep
i being a stranger in her house and NO barking
oh she was the cutest, a gift from god
maybe patty and linus should hang around her
JR comes this weekend
he got me this very nice neckalace for valentines day, its pretty
I love it.
we are goin to NO soon, but I have so much going on with school, I don't even have time to think about it
I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel
home stretch
then I'll start up again in the fall, geesh, never ending

here is the fat skinny on my life lately.....................
first -I got an 98 on my nursing test today..the highest grade in the class
second- I have a new car, my old one sucked and kept breaking so I got a new-to-me ford focus her name is olive, and she is wonderful
third- i quit smoking since january 9th, and I'm doing very well, my NP will be so proud of me
fourth- I have been going to the gym lots and lifting weights..so hopefully I will be skinnier one day
fifth- my sweet dreamy bf came to visit this past weekend, and suprised me by coming thursday night, we had fun, and I miss him already
sixth- I'm very busy with school, and trying to work enough to pay bills, along with applying to the University of Buffalo to go on for my BS/MS in nursing

The night from Hell

Well last night was awful, Jr and I were gonna go out to a bar in Bolivar, and have a fun night out
we both took showers got ready, and I just cracked a beer to have before we left at around 7pm
we were playing pool, and I had won two games, and was doing very well. (I never win against JR)
Then all of a sudden, JR says something and runs up stairs, and hollers for me to come help him. He was playing with his new jack knife, which was extremely sharp, and he cut the tip of his thumb about 3/4 of the way off. He was bleeding profusely, and holding it under water. I got a good look at it and we wrapped it and headed to the ER. At about 11:30, they finally put 4 stitches in his thumb. When they injected his finger tip with Lidocaine, he felt woosy (like Irene) and almost passed out. This is common, usually in men. He said it hurt like hell.
Finally we were on our way home, no going out for us. On our way down we noticed my passenger side window would not roll down, we though it was frozen, we messed around with it a bit, and then left it. So on the way home we were just riding down State St, and boom, the window comes flying down into the door. It slipped off its track and just fell down. Meanwhile it is about 10 degrees out and we are freezing cold, with a window that wouldn't go up. I was too tired from being in the ER all night to care, we pulled over and put a blanket in the window. I have never wanted to be one of those people with a plastic sheet or garbage bag over their open window. We finally get home and wrap a huge tarp over the car. The wind was blowing really bad, and it was freezing, and in the process Jr's bandage falls off his thumb. It sucked. It was such a crappy night.

The new year

I haven't updated in awhile, and am getting harassed about it
so x-mas was wonderful, soo many presents and family fun
playing games everynight was fun, a little overwhelming but fun
I'm the kind of person that needs alone time, I think everyone does
then we had x-mas again at Jr's house, more presents
this x-mas was huge!
new years me and Jr made dinner at home, then went to a bar for midnight
it was a little townie bar, but we had fun
I got to spend another new years with Jr, that's all I wanted
this week has been eventful, I am staying at Jr's for the week, I start school Monday the 9th
I had an interview at my future place of employment, it went well, they will most likely be able to offer me a position if all my references checkout.
Also the most disturbing news is my little mama had another seizure, I don't know what is wrong with her
she had her first seizure 2 years ago, and none that we know of since
I hope Cathy is not poisoning her, hehe j/k
but there are a list of possible reasons it could happen, and it could just be idiopathic, who knows
the last time she had a seizure she spent the night on the critical care unit at Angel, and it cost me a fortune
and the vet said there was nothing wrong with her, and that seizures are common in little dogs
I hope she doesn't have anymore, oh my poor mama.

so my week at jr's was very nice
we went out for his b-day
and had lots of fun
we were too drunk so em drove us home..thank god
then it was back home and back to work
i got lots of great things for my b-day
a book, a gift certificate
some cutie betty boop socks
and white long-sleeved shirts
and some more socks
and a nice smelling candle
all wonderful gifts
thank-you everyone for the gifts
and right when i got home cath had me doin all sorts of chores
i have gone to the gym two days in row
of it feels so good
i wish I had a partner to go with though
becky needs to move here asap, and cath needs to get better
i need to shed some poundage bad
i'm not happy with how I look, but i'm trying
i need to go to a chiropractor though..bad
nursing is killing my back
actually i hurt it showing cath how franklin shakes his but after he goes out in the cold
and i have decided that lucy and franklin are gonna start sitting on the kitchen table
maybe i'll put their bed up there
